6 years ago, I lost custody of my 2 year old daughter. I was having my mother watch her for me until I found a stable place to live. When I got a place of my own she decided to accuse me of neglect for this or for that reason. DCYF had me jump through hoops for over a year and STILL found me an unsui...table parent, eventually forcing me to sign adoption papers. The people of DCYF are the most horrible people I've ever come across in my entire life. Luckily I didn't commit suicide over losing my baby, and I climbed out of the hole they put me in. On a lighter note, my little girl is now 9 years old and happily back in my loving arms. Nicholas did an outstanding job winning back custody for me. If need someone to present the truth and facts in an assertive and meaningful fashion, Mr. Gelfuso will get you justice. But, be truthful with him. He is about honesty, so be thorough and don't leave ANYTHING out. This is about the child's best interest, and he doesn't want to put kids through any more stress they've probably already endured. I can't thank him enough and I recommend him 100%.

Extremely hard to say anything good about the guy. Hired him in 2012 for a simple business matter that should have taken a month to two at best and it took 6 months. Most of my days were spent trying to track down this guy. His staff at Keven McKenna's office are unprofessional, rude and seems like t...hey have a high turnover rate. While the end result was adequate and my case was resolved in my favor, the extra time and aggravation were not worth it. He never bothered to return a single call and when I finally did trap him at his office one day he acted like a frightened school girl. He had every excuse in the book, while most lawyers are weasels, he actually resembles one.
