You are getting good advice above, I would suggest that you write to the credit card companies and the hospital and inform them that there are no probate assets and that should stop the phone calls and letters that you must be receiving.

A good web site to get free historical information on stocks is http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/ but in order to use that you will need to know when you purchased the stock. You can then backtrack from what the value is currently.
