Description: Manufacturer of the Metabolife herbal diet pill sued client, a Harvard Medical School professor, for product defamation from statements in a consumer report on safety of diet pills containing ephedrine. With Attorney Greg Roper of San Diego, CA, won dismissal with anti-SLAPP ruling, affirmed by U.S. Court of Appeals for Ninth Circuit, and recovered over $350,000 in attorneys fees and costs.
