Jason Chan was recommended to us by Chinese another lawyer. It was hard to find a lawyer who could handle our case and could speak fluent Cantonese. Jason lacked knowledge of business litigation laws and was not an experienced lawyer in such field. He was not thorough with our case, lacked professionalism as a lawyer that should represent us as his clients and didn't give much attention to our case as he should have.. at least as a consumer/client perspective. His Cantonese is not as fluent as a native speaker. I've heard from others that he is a very good DUI lawyer, which I do not doubt, but with our case, he should have advised us to find someone else or get a second opinion. He was not good with us at keeping us up to date with our case, or explaining to us the procedures of certain situations of the case. He didn't help educate us what a deposition was and showed lack of support as our lawyer. He did not investigate our case enough and if he did he did not keep up knowledgeable
