Garrett Jorgen Lee

also known as Garrett J. Lee

About me

My practice is a mix of employment/labor law,  professional liability, and business litigation.

I provide advice and guidance to clients on a wide variety of labor and employment matters. My practice includes handling wrongful termination disputes and discrimination claims based on sex, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, and sexual orientation. My experience also includes handling claims arising from allegations of sexual harassment in the work place and violations of the Massachusetts whistleblower statute.

On the professional liability side of my practice, I represent clients in complex malpractice disputes involving lawyers, accountants, engineers, and architects.

I have represented clients in Massachusetts state and federal courts and in administrative proceedings before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD).  I began my litigation career at Burns & Levinson in Boston.

Throughout my career, I have been recognized by my peers and colleagues for my creativity, diligence, and ability to identify and solve complex problems.  As a direct result of my professional success, I have been quoted, featured, interviewed and published in the media.

  • Mark W Manning

Garrett has great balance as an attorney. Hardworking and focused, but also even-tempered, professional and practical. He is a facilitator of legal matters, but can be a strong, zealous advocate when the situation calls for it. He is a great ally to have on your team!

  • Susan Ida Grossberg

I have known Garrett for several years and have referred several clients to him. He is smart, organized, and gets the job done. I have also been following his career in the press. His recent appellate victory in a highly complex intellectual property case created new legal precedent in the First Circuit and was well publicized. This guy is a rising star.
