wow

Aaron was the best! Along with great knowledge and super demeanor, he has some other things that made him a worthwhile choice. One of the best *perks* of using Mr. Wolff was his being able to be among the first attorneys heard at hearings. l had numerous court hearings with many other cases on the do...cket. His ability to be heard first saved many hours of my time, which was very important to me. He was very upfront about the possible outcomes and worked extremely hard to get me the best outcome l could have hoped for.

Purely self-interested, will force you to settle just to make him look good.

Avoid this guy, he will sell you out to the DA just to force you into a settlement (less work for him). He will tell you initially that the charges are weak and you have a strong case and then, once you've paid him his exorbitant fee, start pressuring you to agree to a lessor charge (that actually ha...s the exact same punishment as the original - and in fact, the original charge remains on your record as having been "dropped from"). His only real strategy is to delay the proceedings again and again (he'll put a waiver in front of you right before the court calls you) in hopes that some witness (like the cop that arrested you) will drop out - the result being that you have to deal with the courts for 2 - 3 times the normal length of the case. I had a very low BAC (.0095/.01) but in the end, he forced me to accept a plea agreement (he stuck the agreement in front of me just before the court called my case and told me it was the best I would get & that if I didn't accept it I would most likely get jail time) - I ended up getting a worse sentence than a repeat high BAC offender with a public defender (I have a friend that has had 2 priors and tested at double the limit on his current DUI, and his PD was still able to limit his punishment to far less than what I got). Aaron's explanation was that I drew a very difficult Judge and that the Judge obviously didn't like me! Right. So if you draw a Judge that appears to not like you, shouldn't you insist on a change of venue due to judicial prejudice? The same excuse was used with why the DA wouldn't give me a better deal. It actually seemed to boil down to, "Because HE has to work with these guys" - he was more concerned about how HE was going to work with this DA and Judge on future cases than he was about getting me a fair result. There are a lot of far better lawyers out there that are actually willing to work for you, don't take the chance with this one.

When I first read this review I was shocked. What is described is NOT the way I practice law or advocate for my clients. I have carefully reviewed the past two years of my cases and none even remotely match the facts above. I take great pride in doing everything i can to get the best possible outcome for the people who have entrusted me to represent them. And I do this in a careful and deliberate manner while keeping people informed every step of the way. All of the other reviews support my position. My sole focus is on my client - not my reputation with the prosecutor, judge or court staff. That being said, I invite whoever wrote this review to contact me directly so we can address their concerns. If he or she truly feels slighted by the way I handled their case, I will do whatever I can to make them whole.
