My process took a total of 4 years but once under Jacob's team, they get everything handled and completed all under a year ! Michele Linatoc handled most of my case and was very good about emailing me constantly to keep me up to date and on track with anything she needed from me. Choosing a lawyer was a task in it self... I did some homework and talked to a few lawyer before choosing Jacob. When I "interviewed" Jacob on a free consultation we had, he was knowledgeable in the most recent developments and updates, he listened to my background and guided me to which direction ...would be best for me to pursue. He also showed enthusiasm, creativity and self confidence in his direction of guidance. Naturally, being it was before I actually chose him, I was a bit skeptical that lawyers could tell you many things before you choose them, and then "flip" after you pay them... Jacob was NOT like that: In fact, since he was very confident in his capabilities and in my case, he PROVED it - he offered to PAY ME BACK ALL HIS FEES if my case would not be approved!! he also offered to anchor this in our contract. This was for me, a lawyer that actually "put his money where his mouth is"!! This was for me a proof that he is a man of his word as well as professional that knows the details and recent updates. Many lawyer might disregard you after you paid them and would do the best they can to avoid you - Jacob is NOT like that: Even though he was busy many times, he always responded to me and and in most cases respected my concerns or at least listened to them... To my taste, since Jacob is not personally working on all his cases, the main thing you should be aware of, is to make sure and double check that the people from his office that he appoints to work on the case with him, are truly aligned with the details of your story case and that you made sure they did understand all the relevant details. Especially in the case of an EB-2 type of visa, that has some more technical issues to showcase and explain. I did find out in my case, that you can't just put them on "cruise control" or "let them do the work" without making sure that everything is presented the way it should be or there are misunderstandings. As for now, I recently got an approval notice of my case (which is the most critical part), that arrived a bit latter then then Jacob anticipated, but I am happy I would get the chance to create in the U.S and do my best to truly make the world a better place from the land of the dreams coming true. Jacob’s office is incredible, they are so professional and nice, every time you call or email they respond right away, immediately and my wife had an issue with imigration that we thought would be impossible to solve, a really hard case. I went thought a few attorneys before and they literally sucked.... One of them just took our money and didn’t do anything and the other one thought he was God and actually was very rude and he sucked. When we went to jacob everything changed. We loved the offcice, the whole crew is so nice amd are always ready to help, they all speak different languages( multi language).
