Mr. Bouman was so helpful. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He answered questions I didn't know I needed to ask! All I had to do was express a thought or concern, and Mr. Bouman had several suggestions for me. I no longer need to worry about my will and health care directives, beca...use Mr. Bouman found a way to include everything I wanted in the documents. I felt completely at ease in his office, which by the way is easily accessible with ample parking (very important to me). I plan to continue to go to Mr. Bouman with legal issues, and will most certainly recommend him to anyone who needs a straight-shooting, gifted attorney.

I was referred to Mr. Bouman by my trust officer at Wells Fargo after I'd consulted a local attorney and been less than impressed. My first contact with Mr.Bouman was by email. In his prompt reply he summarized his estate planning process, including the range of fees he charges. He later sent me... a very complete bound brochure laying out in more detail the steps he uses in designing and estate plan. On my initial appointment, I found Mr. Bouman both congenial and witty. That put me at ease. (I am a retired lawyer and am pretty familiar with the sort of person who can make a client feel comfortable.) We went over my personal information in detail, including my how I wanted my estate to be distributed. During this interview, Mr. Bouman orally laid out my estate plan in general and promised he would deliver a complete description of my estate plan within two weeks, which he did. At my second meeting, Mr. Bouman presented me with a draft of the provisions of my estate plan, including a pour-over will, powers of attorney and other ancillary documents. To my eye, these had been thoughtfully and knowledgably drafted. We agreed to certain revisions, and these were made on the spot. Thus I was able to sign off on my estate plan with only two meetings. Mr. Bouman is a knowledgable estate planner. He informs the client of many considerations that wouldn't have occurred to the client. This is reassuring. I would unreservedly recommend his services to anyone seeking competent, thorough, and reasonably priced estate planning.
