My husband and I were recently referred to Tom when we moved to Arizona and needed to update our estate planning. We had hired a recommended attorney in San Jose to create our initial package 5 years ago and we were basically happy with it--we just needed minor updating. Tom could have simply mad...e the minor updates we requested, updated the language to suit Arizona and current law, and been done with it, especially since he had quoted us a very reasonable, flat-rate, package-revision fee. Instead, he broached good questions, made recommendations for improvements, replaced existing language with language that was stronger legally, and generally delivered an estate package superior to what we originally had. Tom's service was impeccable, he was personally responsive, he turned the package around quickly, and he is obviously well informed about estate law. You get the impression that he is, in fact, passionate about what he does. Although we just got our package about 2 weeks ago, I've already happily recommended him to several acquaintances.

We are currently in the midst of creating our Family Trust with Thomas Bouman. It is obvious he knows the law and how it pertains to trusts, but I must say he presents it in a non-lawyer language so it is easy to understand. I felt emotionally overwhelmed everytime I thought of creating a trust, but... he made the process as simple as having a conversation with a friend. His prices are very competetive also. All in all a painless experience!
