Long story short he had to be asked to say the obvious by us during the trial and the judge kept looking at him for checking his phone repeatedly during the trial rather than listening to the hearing. He ended up working out the best deal for the opposing attorney and went over to the other attorney patting him on the back. I was really nervous when I started my search for a family law attorney because I knew that the most important things in my life were at risk: my children, my home, my assets and my ability to provide for my kids in the future.
