Avoid at all cost

I hired Mr. Jordan to assist me with my case after he told me he could help. As soon as he got my money he became rude, disrespectful and his response was “there’s nothing I can do for you”. When I asked for a refund he stated that was not possible but it could be applied to future services if need...ed. Unfortunately, there is an extremely small group of lawyers that help service members in need. Mr. Jordan is the epitome of every bad lawyer stereotype and is out to make money instead of helping. I highly recommend avoiding.

It is unclear what case this is or who the former client is. In fact, I doubt this is a client of mine. My team and I work very hard for all our clients. We cannot win every case. We expect our clients to partner with us to help achieve a desirable result. Desirable results are usually achieved, but not always. Desirable partnerships with the client are usually achieved, but not always. Our standard of work for our firm is very high. I am intense which leads to my consistent success. My style of communication is very direct. Some folks who are not used to frankness and call it rudeness. I don't apologize for my manner. Work has to get done and it has to get done quickly efficiently and right. When a desirable result is not achieved, some folks are disgruntled and may choose to hide behind anonymity when voicing their unfounded frustrations. Who knows if this is a former client or not. If it is, I am sorry they feel they way they do. It's hard to address a grievance when you don't know who your accuser is.

Don't waste your time or money!

I hired Joseph Jordan to defend me against 17 charges of sexual assault and domestic violence. At first he seemed interested and helpful, until he got a hold of my money. That's when things changed drastically. He charged me $21000 to defend my case of which he took $14000 of it. He advised me to wai...ve my article 32 hearing which I did. I spoke with him 4 times on the phone. He was rude and unprofessional and he complained about his own family problems more than listen to what I was saying. He finally told me that I must plead guilty to all charges because the evidence was stacked against me. I fired Mr Jordan and hired another attorney who did get me off all charges. Mr Jordan does not care about you, he only wants your money! If you want a Trial lawyer then this guy is not for you. He will take your money and try and plead out with the prosecution as quickly as possible. Save yourself and find a real Trial lawyer!

This client was in pre-trial confinement during the whole time I represented him. I was the second attorney he hired. It was difficult to get in touch with him and his Coast Guard Defense Counsel routed most of my communications to him. At my direction we secured a navy investigator to actively hunt down leads I identified in this case. I spent over 74 hours analyzing, reading, viewing and listening to material and evidence regarding this case. My staff spent another 24 hours on this case working and analyzing materials. At his request, an itemized invoice of work completed was provided to the client. I do not apologize for the fees incurred because they were earned. The case had not been referred to trial yet. However, I had already prepared and drafted a motion to be filed for his release from confinement the day the case was released from trial. I was let go before that could occur. When the evidence appears overwhelming, I advised this client that a plea is always on the table and that he should consider it. I also said that we were actively tracking down leads and interviewing witnesses. We continued to pursue leads up until the time I was let go. I also advised that even if a plea was offered we can withdraw at any point. When a client tells me know "I want to fight" than that is what I do and that is what I did in his case. Sometimes hard discussions have to occur with clients. They don't want to hear the worst case scenario. I am the type of attorney that does not beat around the bush. I tell you like it is. I tell you how the evidence will be presented to the jury and what the problems are with it. Any of my clients, past or present will tell you that. I will not betray the confidence or the evidence in this case. I am glad he received his desired result. I wish him well in his Coast Guard Career.

Useless

I spent 15,000$ (I even sold my car!) for him to talk for 2 minutes. Before hiring him (and while I was still paying) he was absolutely sure he would kick ass and win, but 10 minutes before the trial he asks me "so what are you going to do if you go to jail?". I spent 3 months in jail and now I'm a ...sex offender. My carreer and life is ruined and the only thing that kept me from winning the case was the fact that the CID falsified the report (and there were proof of it!!) and my ex-wife lies. They should have a policy "if you don't win you get all the money back"

I have no idea who this client is. Frankly, I don't believe this was a client of mine. I never guarantee a win. I certainly would not ask a client what they would do if they go to jail merely minutes before going to jail....or at any time. The very fact that the individual is brave enough to write disparaging words, yet hide behind anonymity says a lot about the credibility of this review. The only thing we guarantee at the Jordan UCMJ Law Group is seasoned, well researched, , aggressive advocacy. We are meticulous in our case preparation. We work hard. Prison is always a possibility. I would never ask "what are you going to do if you go to jail?" Instead, well in advance of the trial, i would explain what to expect in a worse case scenario. Most clients actually ask that question up front. Clients always want assurances. "You can win this right?" Based on the case, I will give them assurances on how good their case is, but I will never guarantee a win. Have we lost cases. That was not due to a shortage of hard work, or knowledge. No one can dictate what a jury is going to do. You can advocate, present the best case possible, but the jury decides at the end of the day. There is always risk when one goes to trial.
