I went and met with Matt the day after I was arrested for a DUI for falling asleep in my vehicle. Obviously getting right out of jail and trying to decide who is going to represent you is difficult. So I met with a couple other lawyers but in the first 5-10 minutes with Matt he was throwing out idea...s, questions, and possible solutions to figure out the case at hand. The energy he had and track record gave me some hope in a dark time so I decided to go ahead and hire Matt. After hiring Matt he kept gather information, ideas(great ideas I may add) and putting things into place that we could use to fight the DUI charge. Ultimately, he got the job that I had hired him to do and to the best possible scenario which the DUI was dismissed. Not all cases are beatable but if you have at least a hint of a fighting chance to have a case lowered or dismissed or you would just like great guy to represent you that will keep fighting for you I would recommend at least going and talking with Matt to see what he has to say. I was charged with a DUI and Implied Consent. I met with Matt and explained my situation to him. I contacted his office and within 24 hours, I received a call and an email from him personally. He actually reached out to me after hours, after a long day in court and made all of his contact information... available and let me know I could get in touch with him that evening if I needed to. I arranged for a consultation with him and knew right away he was the right person to represent me. First of all, he immediately put me at ease and spoke to me in a way that was real and that was honest, which allowed me to be able to do the same with him. I emphasized the things that mattered the most to me in regards to what was most important to me in terms of the outcome, and he listened and gave due respect to it. I was able to approach the situation with a very level-headed frame of mind because of our initial consultation. The final outcome ended up being as good as one could hope without going through much. I could have waited things out and drug the case out, but instead, he was able to get the DUI charge dismissed and dropped to a reckless driving charge. This all occurred within the month (on my first court appearance). This meant I could resume my focus towards my education and family and that I was no longer having to be stressed out about the potential outcome. I would certainly recommend Matt to anyone and everyone, and in fact have praised him highly to everyone that was aware of my situation. He was also willing to work out payment plans, which can definitely be helpful to those on a financial budget. This guy knows his stuff, is honest, non-judgemental, realistic, and certainly willing to make everything as easy and as smooth as it can possibly be for his clients.
