The title of this review could not be more true. I consulted with Matt at one of the most stressful and scary times in my life. My career, reputation, and everything I had ever worked for were in jeopardy. I had never needed a lawyer before so I started reading reviews on Avvo. I decided to send Matt... an email and within hours he was calling me and setting up an appointment. To my surprise he was very straight forward with me, sincere, and seemed to genuinely care. He explained the process to me and told me exactly what he could do for me. His calmness and understanding comforted me, and without that I am not sure I could have kept my sanity during all this. One thing that stood out to me was before I had even hired him, or given him a dime, he went and had some minor traffic violations expunged from my record. I knew he was right for my case and decided to hire him. He immediately got to work and did so until ultimately my case was completely dismissed. He worked with me financially not because he had to, but because he knew the stress already on me, and didn't want finances to be a burden as well. He also is still working hard to get everything expunged and clearing my name. Thank you Matt. I would highly recommend him. Even though I hope I never need his services again, I would think twice about hiring him again.

I hired Matthew Brock to provide representation for my son who was charged with DUI and was at the time in jail for missing his court date. Mr Brock helped me understand what my son was facing and was able to have his court date changed so my son was released within a few days instead of weeks. I was charged with a dui, open container, and implied consent. This wasn't my first time being in trouble with the law, so I knew I needed to hire an attorney. I've hired attorneys in the past for previous charges, but I never felt as confident as I did walking into the court room with Matt Brock be...side me. After having a consultation with Matt I decided to hire him, price was awesome, and I felt I finally had someone by my side. My case was a little more complicated than your average dui arrest. After going to court we decided to take my case to the next level. At this point I was skeptical about keeping Matt as my attorney due to his experience level as a newer attorney. This was my freedom, a charge on my record that would last forever. I decided to hire another lawyer with years of experience, thinking it was my best option. It wasn't until my first court date upstairs when I realized I made a mistake. My lawyer (which I will not name) did not do any research on my case. He was asking me questions about my case 5 minutes before the judge called my name. I was recommended to another attorney by a friend, again with years of experience and a big name in Chattanooga. After going to court several times I was leaving town for a family vacation during the time I had another court date. I had spoken with my lawyer and told him about my family trip. He assured me it was ok for me to go, I had nothing to worry about and he would get an extension. I called my lawyer from Colorado a few hours after my scheduled court date, only to be informed I had a $10,000 bond and a warrant for my arrest! My lawyer proceeded to tell me I missed my court date and he was no longer representing me. I was lost, scared, and felt helpless. I called Matt instantly and he reassured me we could fix this. At the time I didn't have enough money to pay him coming back from vacation and having to hire two other attorneys. Matt came in on his own time to help me talk to the judge and have my warrant revoked. I knew then I made a huge mistake by not keeping him as my lawyer throughout the whole case. I hired Mr. Brock for a second time. It wasn't the money Mr. Brock cared about he cared about my myself and my case! He did his job, did his research, went to court multiple times, and kept me updated throughout the whole process. Never once did I feel alone walking into the court room. I had a lawyer who proved to me he truly cared about my case and if you've ever hired an attorney before you will know that feeling is hard to come across! He was prepared at every hearing and really went the extra mile to help me. My dui was thrown out completely and I have 5 days of community service. I was very pleased with the results Mr. Brock was able to achieve. If you want a lawyer who cares, truly does his job, and keeps you informed every step of the way, then Matt Brock is your guy! I don't plan on getting into any more trouble, but if I do, Matt will be my first and only call!
