The judge must have been insane. She was bullying and imperious, saying she was going to fine me over a thousand dollars and give me a criminal record for not cutting some grass that no one ever told me I needed to cut! Even the solicitor was aghast. The way her honor backed down when Matthew took... over reminded me of a lion retreating from the trainer's whip. Thanks to him I was able to pay a reasonable fine and be done with it.
