I was totally panicked after talking to the court ...administrators who said I could actually get jail time....for an expired license?? I had received my 1st ticket in decades in Silver Springs, MD area. I googled lawyers to get advice about going to trial as I had a spotless record and felt there were mitigating circumstances.
