Jim is a Warrior in Court yet a kind and gentle person with special "listening" skills.

I am honored and privileged to write a review for my lawyer Jim Nugent. I was referred to Jim Nugent by my real estate lawyer. I was in a very serious car accident. I was hit head-on by a young man who crossed the double yellow line. I was hurt, injured, hospitalized and my car was totaled. I was rec...eiving medical bills that I did not know how I was going to pay. I was missing work due to my injuries. Before this car accident, I had only dealt with one lawyer in my life and that was when my husband and I bought a house. I called my real estate lawyer who told me he fully trusted Jim Nugent to handle my car accident case. My real estate lawyer told me he specializes in real estate and could not do as good a job as Jim Nugent would do. He told me he has referred many dozens of potential personal injury clients to Jim but that Jim only takes certain cases. He told me to call Jim directly and hope for the best that Jim would take my case. I followed his advice and contacted Jim Nugent. I was impressed with the immediate attention I received from Jim. I accepted his offer to get in his car and come to meet me. This was a huge help since I was still having difficulty getting around, and had no car of my own. Listening was what Jim did that first visit, and listening is what Jim and Julie Nugent and their assistants did for me every time I called them and met with them. They were extremely responsive to my questions and calmed me down. The Nugent Lawyers took care of all my worries and concerns with the hospital bills, the doctor bills, and my union health plan. Most importantly, Jim Nugent went to Court and battled against the insurance company who did not want to be fair. At first, the insurance company only offered the amount of my medical bills. Jim and Julie immediately put my case into suit. They were able to make the young fellow who hit me answer questions under oath and show us his insurance policy. Jim demanded the entire limits of his insurance policy - which was a substantial amount of money. I never thought Jim would be able to get the insurance company to pay all that money - but I'm happy he worked his magic and did just that! Jim Nugent is a talented personal injury lawyer who did a fantastic job for me. I highly recommend anyone who has been injured to call Jim. Hopefully he will take your case and get you the justice you deserve. Jim is a true warrior but make no mistake about it - he is a kind, gentle person who truly cares about me and I am sure he cares about all his clients. Julie Nugent is a joy to be around. I spent a number of hours with Julie reviewing my file, understanding all the facts, dates, treatments, and how these injuries have affected my life. She is a lovely person. The two Nugent Lawyers are husband and wife and work together to form the best lawyer team any client could ever dream of having. My overall rating for Jim Nugent is the highest I could give. I am so happy my real estate lawyer referred me to Jim and that Jim took my case. I count my lucky stars that I had the Nugent Lawyers fighting for me.

Car Crash Trial Results in a Wonderful Outcome

I originally started with a different attorney. She was unresponsive and did not answer phone calls. As a result, I lost truth in her. I then was referred to Jim and Julie Nugent. I am so glad I turned to them for their expertise, knowledge and determination in fighting Allstate Insurance Company for... me. I was surprised at how informed they kept me. Nugent Law brought this case to trial for me and Jim was fabulous at trial. I highly recommend the dynamic lawyer team of Jim and Julie Nugent. Their assistant was very pleasant too. If you have been in a car crash, like I was, and want a team of lawyers to fight for you, not back down and allow you to tell your story to a jury, call the Nugents.

Wonderful Experience

I have had a wonderful experience with the Nugent firm. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and understood what I went through. Jim and Julie helped me navigate through the car accident experience. The insurance company knew what they were doing, I needed expert lawyers to level the playing field f...or me. Highly recommended Jim and Julie. They're the best!

REAR-END ACCIDENT CLAIM AGAINST INSURER OF AUTO THAT HIT ME, AS WELL AS MY OWN INSURER FOR UNDER INSURED MOTORIST CLAIMS

I WAS FORTUNATE TO FIND AND SELECT ATTORNEY JAMES J. NUGENT AFTER BEING THE VICTIM OF A REAR-END COLLISION THAT TOTALED MY AUTO. ATTORNEY NUGENT AND HIS STAFF WERE TRULY AMAZING IN THEIR DILIGENCE IN THE PROCESS OF CLAIMS AGAINST THE INSURER OF PERSON WHO HIT ME, AS WELL AS MY OWN INSURER FOR CLAIMS... OF AN UNDER INSURED PARTY. AFTER A LONG 40 MONTH PROCESS THAT WAS MOVING FORWARD TO TRIAL ATTORNEY NUGENT WAS ABLE TO GAIN FULL DAMAGES FROM THE PARTY THAT HIT ME, PLUS AN UNDISCLOSED AMOUNT FROM MY OWN INSURER. BOTTOM LINE IS THAT ATTORNEY NUGENT AND HIS STAFF WERE TOTALLY ON TOP OF THIS CASE OVER THE EXTENDED PERIOD, ALWAYS KEEPING ME INFORMED AS TO PROGRESS. THEY OVERCAME SIGNIFICANT HURDLES RELATED TO MY MEDICAL RECORDS. THEIR THOROUGHNESS OF RESEARCH WAS TRULY IMPRESSIVE. ATTORNEY NUGENT IS A "DOWN-TO-EARTH" INDIVIDUAL. AND WHEN RESULTS COUNT, HE AND HIS STAFF DELIVERED WELL BEYOND ANYTHING I COULD HAVE EXPECTED.

Client Satisfaction

I was grateful to have been refered to James Nugent during a stressful lawsuit. He educated me on legal issues, informed me on legal process, advised me regarding proceedings, & protected and supported me during this time. I felt comfortable that James Nugent had my best interests in mind and that ...he kept me informed regularly. With his knowledge and expertise, he was able to achieve positve results on every count in the lawsuit. And, after the conclusion of the trial, he aided in resolution of all remaining issues. Besides being a competent and respected lawyer, James Nugent is a personable and compationate person. He is easy to talk with and demonstrated kindness beyond the lawsuit.
