Matthew did a great job dealing with a bunch of moving parts and a very uncooperative opposition. He is efficient, very knowledgeable, and can effectively move a case through the courts with as little pain as possible. He took care of most of my court dealings, so I didn't even need to be there unt...il trial. He isn't a dramatic person, which saves the client and himself time. He's very straight forward. If you need a lawyer, he's fantastic. If you need a lawyer/life counselor, I would still hire him, but use a separate counselor/friend/beautician/bartender to vent to. I had numerous people recommend him, and they were right! I will continue to use him.

Matthew is AMAZING! I was referred to him by a co-worker, who's friend was using him. When I arrived at Matthew's office, I was broken, scared and physically sick. My ex was a bully. I didn't know how to break the cycle. Matthew's first words to me where "come in, she who doubts herself". He was dire...ct and honest. There was no sugar coating anything. He told me if I was out of line in things regarding my ex but backed me up when it was the right thing to do. Matthew does not tolerate bullies! He will do what is necessary for you and your child. He will fight for you and present your case TRUTHFULLY in court. Matthew is affordable. He will not charge you ridiculous fees. Full disclosure, if you imagine an attorney's office with fancy desks, a receptionist and water cooler....this is not the office. Matthew works in organized chaos and he remembers EVERYTHING. It's important to note that Matthew is one of the busiest divorce lawyers in town. He spends a good part of the week in court, so it can be difficult to reach him, but he will get back to you! I have grown quite fond of Matthew over the last 15 months. I wouldn't change a thing about having Matthew represent me. Now that my divorce is final, I am going to truly miss Mr. Dudley, aka Mr. Grinch.

A little over a year ago I hired Mr. Dudley as my attorney for a divorce and custody battle. With no idea what I was getting myself into, and feeling in the dark over a situation I felt I had little to no control over. With that being said Matthew swept me up and kept me going during the hardest time... of my life. If you are looking for someone to console you or make you feel better, this is not your guy. He is very straight to the point and blunt but man does he get the job done. He was always available when I needed, always got back to me in a timely fashion and was very organized. I would give me a 100 star rating out of 5. If you want the best you will get the best with Mr. Dudley.

Matthew Dudley is an excellent attorney who gets the job done. He doesn't mess around with platitudes and does not beat around the bush: he tells it like it is and will be your best advocate. He has a passion for doing what is right; so, if you want to do otherwise, he is not your guy. Mr. Dudley's ...legal expertise and finesse in the courtroom exceeded my every expectation. I am very pleased with his representation and would highly recommend him to friends. A single caveat: If you have a ton of extra money and need someone to hold your hand and be your attorney/therapist, you should probably hire a high-priced lawyer who will talk to you on the phone/email you as often and as long as you like, charging $$$$ per hour. However, if you are looking for an attorney with a solid understanding of the law and a heart of gold who won't waste your time and money chatting unnecessarily, hire Mr. Dudley.

I hired Matthew to represent me and file a parenting plan. He did exactly that, represented me. I have read some other reviews and find it funny that he has any bad reviews. His personality may be hard to adjust to for some, but his knowledge of law and thorough approach are what you are looking for.... He is honest and upfront. He will not waste your time and expects the same. Speaking from my experience as a single father who now has my daughter exactly half time, I can't say that someone else would have represented me as fully or as well as Matthew did. He took the time to understand my situation and was my daughters advocate just as much as he was paid to be mine.
