I had two cases at the same time. One divorce and one criminal case. I was married to a difficult man at whose hands I suffered emotional and physical abuse for years. My husband had an affair with my (ex) best criend and had me arrested claiming assault and was intent on the worst punishment I could... get. Gina took both of my cases and worked on them in unison for until the final resolution. At a dark period in my life, she encouraged me and talked me "off the ledge" many times. She encouraged me to get domestic violence counseling and truly cared about my emotional well-being. It saved my life. When I went to court on the criminal charge, both the prosecutor and the judge told me what an awesome job my attorney did for me. It was a better outcome than I could have imagined. I signed my divorce papers today and again, the outcome was in my favor and nothing short of a miracle. I will always consider Gina my angel. Its a rare find in the legal business. My experience with Ms. Costello was lukewarm, at best. She was very difficult to get on the telephone, and seldom would return your calls. She treated us very poorly at first, and even dropped our case. The day she let us know she was dropping us, was 2 weeks before a court hearing. Ms. Costello was ...abrasive, and difficult over the phone, yelling unsubstantiated reasons for dropping our case. She refused to listen to what I had to say, stating she was uncomfortable talking to me any longer. The whole experience was awful! She later (several days) rang me up, and after a very intense conversation (I was very upset), gave a lacking apology for poor communication, and not fully understanding what was going on. At that time she asked us to reconsider her quitting, and put her back on the case. We reluctantly did, mostly due to financial reasons. I never really trusted Ms. Costello after that. She did improve on communication, and she did see the case through. The emotional and financial cost was weighty. It was a TERRIBLE experience, and I'm certainly glad that I no longer have a need for Ms. Costello's services. My opinion is, look elsewhere.
