Medical professional arrested for DUI

I am a medical professional and was arrested for a DUI with a very high BAC (very stupid and should not have been on the road). The Underwood Law Firm had great reviews- so, I retained him as my lawyer, terrified that I was going to lose my medical license because my BAC was so high. He is fantastic;... extremely knowledgeable, realistic, approachable, and was in constant contact with me throughout every step of the process. He was able to get my DUI charge decreased to a “wet” reckless driving (misdemeanor) and saved my career in doing so. I cannot thank him and his team enough. Honest Attorney

As a mom you never want to get the call that your child has been arrested for DWI but if you do you try and help. I got up and started searching the internet looking for the best attorney to take his case. I sent email to one and by morning I received a call from a fast talking attorney. 16,000 upfr...ont. I went in to pay and met with this attorneys Junior Colleague. This man told me and my son that they had already seen the video from the police department and said this was going to be no problem getting dismissed because they had no reason to pull him over. We waited patiently for 2 years. After 2 years we called and demanded a meeting. My husband and I went in and this was the first time ever to see the attorney and the first time to speak to him since the morning of the incident. 2 years…That day we asked to see the video and he told us there was no video. At that moment my husband knew we had hired the wrong man. My husband has no problem telling people what he thinks of them and in that meeting my husband requested our money back because nothing had been resolved so he said I will finish this up and so within a couple of weeks my son’s case was settled. He was charged with a DWI, given probation, fined and had to take classes. If he had gone with a public defender he would not be paying us back all the money we spent trying to find a good attorney. We did get back 10,000. The attorney didn’t do us any favors and in the end it was a huge mistake. My son didn’t learn from the first one and that is when I began searching for another attorney. A 2nd DWI is very serious. I was so disappointed with him but at the same time I could see he knew this was out of my hands and the punishment could be way worse than the 1st one. I didn’t reach out to anyone right after the arrest because of Covid. I came across Mr. Underwood on the internet and I read some of his reviews and I decided to reach out to his office. I called and the lady that answered the phone said I need a few details regarding the arrest and from there she gave me a price. I was given a flat fee with no additional charges and they can work out a 6 or 7 month payment plan. That evening I received a call from Mr. Underwood himself. We talked for 2 hours that night. He never promised me anything but he said I will do everything I can. I called my son and told him about Mr Underwood and he said he needed to get his finances together to make the payments because I wasn’t going to help this time. A few months went by and Mr. Underwood’s office stayed in touch with us and said when my son is ready give them a call. All of this was during Covid. I hope you are still reading this long review because I received a call a few days ago that he was able to get my son’s case dropped. I couldn’t believe it. He had to say it again. Mr. Underwood has only had the case for 4 months. There wasn’t another meeting until January 21, 2023 but he said everything was aligned so he made a motion and they agreed. This was the best Christmas gift I could have ever asked for. Mr. Underwood is the best. Give him a call and talk with him and you can decide. You won’t regret it. A DWI is serious and you want someone who is honest and not there just to take your money.

The wizard of the courtroom

No one wanted my case I was sure to spend my holidays in jail, loose a good job, and probably my new home I just moved into. Then I found John Underwood who fought for me. No jail or probation. A Wonderful and Stress-Free Experience on a Potentially VERY Stressful Matter

Hired a winner

I hired underwood after getting a dui last year. I had just passed my nclex and at my graduation party I got dui and was denied my license for a yr. This year underwood got my probation terminated early ( after I completed all court things) and expunged all in 10 min. Now I'm able to reapply and beco...me the nurse I was born to be. I could not have done it without underwood law firm. Thanks bunches guys I will always recommend them.
