Dismissed My Case After 15 Minutes - DA Negotiation!!! I had an altercation with a gas station clerk due to some family involvement. That clerk pulled a knife on me, I defendant my life by pushing him and punching him in the face. I called the police, but by the time the police arrived the clerk ...hide the knife and the only thing the police observed was the clerk's mark of my punch on the clerk’s face. The police were convened that I was the aggressor. Unfortunately, when the clerk produced the gas station’s video, he deleted the part where he pulled the knife on me. The only evidence reviewed by the DA was the red eye of the clerk and I was charged with battery. I hired two lawyers. None of them was able to advocate for me to show the DA the truth.
