My husband and I were marred August 2005 and initiated our Application for permanent residence with Carl through the phone interview in early October of 2005. We had regular and clear communication via email with a very competent and helpful paralegal named Gale. Gale was very obliging in answering ...any and all questions she could answer, for myself and my husband who were completely new to most immigration technicalities. At any time she could not answer our questions due to legal protocol, she would forward our question to be promptly answered by our attorney Ellen for legal advice. When initial applications, medical examinations, and affidavits had begun processing, the firm advised us that a fee increase with USCIS was going into effect in short notice and they helped us to get everything filed before the increased fees would be incurred. When the final drafts of applications for our signature had a typo, the firm paid for all Fed-Ex overnight expenses to have the forms corrected, re-sent to us for signature, and returned Fed-Ex overnight in order to be filed before the fee increase would affect us. At each personal meeting with our Attorney, and throughout the interview process at INS, Ellen Lee was straight forward, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. She made the very daunting and difficult processes run smooth and simply.
