When I was first charged, I was very frightened as my charge could have led to some serious time. My particular case was tricky (all cases are I suppose), but Jay calmly got through it all extremely skillfully. His preparation was extremely thorough and I felt very comfortable in his hands. Again, my... case was high risk and I very well could be in prison right now instead of writing this review right now. So his thoroughness and preparation was extremely comforting in a very testing time. Talk about peace of mind. He went above and beyond to make sure I had all the information I needed and gave me an honest assessment of my case at every turn. "Honest assessment" includes the hard truths. I was grateful no detail was spared and I got a very real look at how things were going to go. Thankfully, my case never ended up going to trial (his firm negotiating another testament to his skill). However, I still would have liked to see him perform in that kind of situation. The reason I say that is because of the court hearing that killed the case against me. He fought zealously and was on fire. You could see not only the skill and preparation but the sheer passion he feels for his career and his client. I could not have asked for a more dedicated advocate. As a young person that is looking at law school and a career in legal advocacy, he was no less than inspiring. I will never forget the fire you could feel burning in him and the defeated prosecutor with his tail between his legs. I don't envy any attorney that has the misfortune of facing Jay in court. Considering the severity of my charge, Jay got results. He gave the prosecution no quarter. Like I said, I could very well be sitting in prison looking at a long, long sentence but instead I am sitting here writing this review. I consider myself extremely blessed to have his help. Again, not only because of the resolution, but because his firm advocacy gave me peace of mind through a very trying time. I would recommend him for anybody with a serious charge or any charge for that matter. I cannot praise him highly enough. 6 stars and 3 thumbs up.
