I was lucky and blessed to receive mr. Hopke as my court appointed attorney and I couldn't be any happier. Being i was not from the area and from another city not only did he show interest in my case for the area which is right outside of Houston in Katy but also showed interest and asking how I was... doing when it came to other cases I was facing in my own City of San Antonio telling me what ways and tactics I should look into when it came to being represented in my cases so that I can get them either dismissed or to somehow get a happy result. He always seemed to have my best interest at hand. He always answered my calls returned my messages and never had me questioning if he had my back. I am someone who has had a lot of problems with the law and have had my share of lawyers and from my experience most lawyers should be called Liars but in this case was totally different and would highly recommend anybody who is looking for a great lawyer who will have your back to the fullest to get a hold of Kurt Hopke. The end result of my case was dismissed and again I couldn't be more thankful .

First of all thank God for putting Kurt on our way. From the first day that we consulted him we were convince to hire him as our lawyer, he is very attentive, educated and very confident in his abilities. Everything happened as he told and finally our case was dismissed and close. Thanks Kurt, you ar...e the best lawyer ever.

From the first day that I consulted with Mr. Hopke, he was very attentive, confident in his abilities, and assuring, and patient. He assured me from day 1 that he would aggressively fight for me. Never once did he try and coherse me to sign for an unjust conclusion. Being charged with a crime facing... a sentence of 5-99 years, I was rightfully nervous. Each time I would ask about different scenarios he would ask me if I had done what I was accused of and after replying no, he would suggest that I continue working and going about my daily activities and that we should fight. After two and a half years he was able to get a full dismissal. I am very relieved as well as blessed that Kurt Hopke was chosen to represent me.

Overall, he did a great job. He was state appointed, but honestly did the job of a well paid attorney. I do have one minor issue though. He just didn't communicate enough with me, with regards to the progression of the case. Maybe i was an exception to his normal. That said, going back to the fir...st thing i said, he did a wonderful job with my case. It was honestly a case that shouldn't have been a case, with some bs charges that made me temporarily question the whole "until proven guilty". Ended up being dismissed, after many resets. Like a bajillion resets. To no fault of Mr Hopke, though.
