I contacted Pines Federal based on the recommendations of several VA employees at my facility. I had received a proposed 5-day suspension for "conduct unbecoming a federal employee" based on one 5-minute interaction with another VA employee. There were no other incidents of this type anywhere in my... record - and no counseling or comments accomplished by management. After calling Pines and speaking with Stephen Goldenzweig, I started working with Aaron Wersing. Aaron walked me through the entire process from start to finish. He was thorough - familiar with the VA and their issues - and a great listener. Aaron is not only confident in getting things done, he is very compassionate and caring. He is a true fighter for what he believes is right. My case was a bit complicated but Aaron never backed down.
