Lorie has continually provided the most thorough and excellent legal services re: my case. I would recommend anyone going through what I had gone through to contact her for any legal matters in the nursing profession. I had a very high stress level and was relieved that Lorie and her team member ...were able to provide services that would return me to a working level again in protecting my license to continue working as a nurse. Without having to appear in court and having someone represent me was another plus especially since I was not in the state at the time and was unable to appear. I have appeared before the Nursing Board with and without a legal counsel. I believe if legal counsel was in attendance when I was first called by an investigator my decision for settlement, and possibly the Nursing Board stipulations would have been different. I encourage any Nurse to appear with ...legal counsel whenever she/he is approached by a Nursing Board investigator. Do not sign anything without legal advise! Disciplinary action is very bad, and will affect your Nursing career life. Lorie is one such counsel who has represented nurses before the board.

Nausea and fear had taken over! I have never needed legal counseling before in my life! As I combed the Internet in search of somebody that could help one named continually popped up... Lorie brown! As I read the profile I noticed she is the mother of three. So am I! She is an attorney. She is a nurs...e. Based on the fact that she is the mother of three I decided to call her over other nursing attorneys. Lucky I'm that shallow! What I heard on the other end of the phone was a confident, intelligent, capable nursing attorney that had knowledge like no other. In the short conversation we had on the phone I learned I had a few options. Options? Are you sure? I did not know I had options. A nurses nightmare, a discrepancy with a narcotic count and it was happening to me. I can not tell you exactly how I ended up finding Lorie, but I know without a doubt that without her services, I do not think my situation would of had a positive ending.
