REAL REVIEW: I am a licensed practical nurse, and have been since 2005. Back story:: I'm in recovery related to addiction and have been since Aug 28th 2014. I live in a very small town KY, so everyone knows everyone, and they know all about your business and everyone else’s business. Long story short...: i was accused of a crime (taking medication) (morphine) from a Nursing home i was working at. The DON turned me into the board of nursing and she also filed a police report. I was calm at first because i knew i was INNOCENT, but then i got THAT letter from the Board!!! My stomach sank and i hit my knees. I truly could not believe i was being accused of something i did not do. I searched high and low for an attorney because in my letter they had said i may want to hire one. I looked around for a while, and then i found Lori. After speaking with her i knew she was the right one. I wont get into the entire story, but i knew i had to tell her the truth about everything. Shes been practicing law for a long time and she knew i was innocent! She took my case and fought for me! Conclusion: thanks to Lorie fighting on my behalf they closed the case! Guys this is no joke, if you have been accused of something, let her fight on your behalf!! You wont regret it! Nursing is who i am and my lively hood!! I was judged because i used to be in active addiction. Lorie knew i didn't live there anymore and she truly helped me!! I would give her 1000.00 stars if i could!!!!!

Finding Lorie was a blessing from God. I ended a relationship, with a Narcissist of 17 years, and he decided to contact the KBN with wild accusations. I just knew from the letter he wrote that it would end in disciplinary actions up to losing my license. Of course the information was unfounded, bu...t when the KBN indicates that they are investigating you, fear, anxiety, and an attorney is required. Lorie went right to work at the very first call. She also would answer calls or messages, usually that day. She was so supportive and improves your confidence that she is working to the best of her ability for you. Lorie has her nursing degree and is an attorney, so she is extremely knowledgeable regarding nursing requirements, processes, and legal issues. I just opened a new practice when the complaint was filed, so my anxiety was over the top, but Lorie and Amanda, her admin assistant, would calm me down and encouraged me throughout the entire process. In the end, the KBN investigation found that there was not sufficient evidence to require disciplinary action. She basically saved my career. I cannot thank Lorie enough for her dedication to protecting those in the nursing field. I give her a 5 star review and if I could go higher, I certainly would. Thank you again Lorie. You will not be disappointed with Lorie Brown. She is your ace in your pocket.
