I would highly recommend Lorie Brown to defend you if you have to sit in front of the State Board of Health. What I learned about nurses is that when you make a mistake or have an accident, there is no-one in your corner. You are all alone, so I thought. Then I was blessed to have found Lorie. Sh...e guided me through the process of what I was about to face. My advice to any nurse out there is Don't ever think It Will Never Happen to Me, and if it does happen to you, seek legal advice immediately. Do not think that everything will be alright.

Lorie and her team were very professional. She sent me her book along with information about her law office. I read the whole book and then called to hire her. She immediately responded personally by zoom and told me upfront what the charges were and what they were for. She then listened to my st...ory (HIPAA violation) and started a plan of action. She listed many things I needed to start doing right away. She communicated continually with the Attorney General's office, and submitted my work as she received them. As a result, the deputy attorney general did not need to see me in court, and the nursing board did not need to see me either. While i did have a $500 fine, 3 CEUs and 6 hrs of community service, i was relieved. I am very thankful to Lorie and her team for helping me through this difficult and scary process.
