An expert in Military Law

Facing adverse action and a referred OER from a senior rater, Mr. Shewmaker zealously advocated to my command on my behalf. When there appeared to be an impasse, Mr. Shewmaker advocated to my specific branch and sought additional clarification of the regulation. He was truly my voice in what would ...have been a very stressful and prolonged process, and did everything he could to ensure that I would be able to continue my military career. The end result was removal of the OER from my record and a promotion through a special selection board. Without Mr. Shewmaker, I would be on my way out of the military.

Military ADSEP Board: Complete Exoneration, All charges dropped!!!!

The best decision I could have made! Steve Shewmaker and his team of highly professional staff undoubtedly worked well beyond my expectations to come up with the very best possible defense. He and his staff prepared several exhibits to include all of my career history, evaluations, fitness records..., pictures and even a DVD of video evidence. All of this was organized into three separate binders for all the board members to have for their convenience. I was most surprised by the fact that he could be simultaneously reviewing the government's evidence while not ever breaking his attention from the prosecution's statements as he was always quick to call out the government whenever they strayed from the facts. I always felt like I was well cared for and well informed at every step of the way. I have two very important pieces of advice for you. The first is to consult with Shewmaker & Shewmaker and the second is to take their advice whenever they make recommendation. When everything was said and done I was awarded the justice I deserved, all charges dropped full and complete exoneration. Having the best defense attorney is worth every penny especially when your career is on the line!

First Class-Though I didnt engae Steve due to time contraints

My initial attorney got me a bum deal. I was searching for a new family law attorney. Contacted Steve and his team. They were A1A. I did not end up engaging them due to time constraints but moving forward with future cases they will be my top choice. He is well reviewed consistently over time for ...a reason. Mitch

Go with the Best!!

Steven Shewmaker handled my divorce. A true professional at what he does. He’s smart, quick, thorough,knowledgeable and professional in every way. He is well known in the court system for his ability to get things done for his clients. In addition to his talents he is also a gentleman and a just... a real nice guy. I hope I never have to use him again but if the time arises he will be my number one pick!!

Attorney Steve Shewmaker is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) concerning Military Law. I hired Mr. Shewmaker to review my Special Courts-Martial for errors and also to represent me for an Administrative Separation Board subsequently following a conviction of three charges from the aforementioned. I just ...have one statement. Steve Shewmaker is a miracle worker. Of course, Steve Shewmaker is not the Lord but "ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH HIM WITH THE HELP OF THE LORD's GUIDANCE". I know for a fact if Steve Shewmaker was my representing Defense Counsel for the Special Courts-Martial conviction that ultimately led to the Administrative Separation Board; the later would have not been on the table because I would have won at the Special Courts-Martial....PERIOD! Please, if I may offer any advice to you; no matter the cost for Mr. Shewmaker to represent you in a legal matter; pay up because it will be money well spent. I came out on top with everything that I requested.
