Hire Steve Shewmaker Now!!!

I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with Steve was so impactful that I felt it was necessary to share. For almost two years I tried to handle my divorce on my own because after 20 years of marriage I simply wanted it to be over. That decision caused me a tremendous amount of stress a...nd anxiety. I was constantly going back and forth to court and dealing with my ex-husband’s attorney, and nothing was getting resolved. When I finally contacted Steve, I was at my breaking point. At that time the judge had even ordered me to pay over $10,000 in attorney’s fees to my ex-husband based on claims that I had not provided documents, which was not true. I truly did not know how I was going to handle that financially. What stood out to me immediately was that Steve stepped in without hesitation. Before even asking me for a retainer, he told me to give him a moment and said he was going to call my ex-husband’s attorney. I don’t know what was said during that conversation, but everything changed after that. Not only was I no longer responsible for the $10,000 in attorney’s fees, but Steve was also able to secure 50% of my ex-husband’s retirement along with survivor benefits for me. I contacted Steve in November, and after nearly two years of stressful litigation, he and his team were able to finalize my divorce in about 30 days. When he called me with the outcome, I was literally in tears. Steve was honest, direct, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. He didn’t sugarcoat anything, but he fought to get this resolved quickly and fairly. His team worked hard and stayed on top of everything. If you are considering hiring Steve Shewmaker, I highly recommend him. I only wish I had hired him much earlier because it would have saved me a lot of stress and heartache.

Divorce and military pension

Steve is a brilliant attorney. He is fluid, knowledgeable and have such a profound presence in the courtroom. If I had any additional cases in which I needed an attorney, hands down, I would hire Steve immediately. Having Steve in my corner and having him present my case just made me know I had ...the best representation in the courtroom.
