1 word EXCELLENT

Lisa and her team were responsive, professional, compassionate and lead with integrity. They were also confident, dependable and provided my family and I with the piece of mind during our case which was a scary and trying time for us. They gave us the courage to do what was right and provided the... support and validation of good ethics. We are very grateful for all the hard work on our case and wish Lisa and her team much success. If you need an employment firm, this is the one to hire!

Great Service!

Lisa was able to help me negotiate a severance agreement after being laid off 7 months pregnant. I would not have gotten the amount I was awarded if not for her help. She was great and always available for any questions I had. Would highly recommend retaining her services!

Professional & Efficient

Thank you for the expert consultation, Ms. Bertini. Although the news wasn't what we had hoped for, we respect and appreciate your expert judgement. But most importantly, we felt heard... and believed. That alone was worth the cost of a consult. I'd give six stars if that was an option.

Willing to Consult, but not to represent

I had a consultation with Ms. Bertini in October of 2017. She did offer advice, but would not take my case. Since my situation with my employer deteriorated to the point of required mandated retirement by May 2018. I contacted her again for a consult since her specialty involves employment law and ...workplace discrimination. I sent her a long memo describing my situation beforehand, and set up a meeting for our second consult. After she read my memo, she said she would gladly agree with a consult, but would not take my case, nor represent me. Her rationale stemmed from a conflict of interest with with the mediator who tried my case, yet she still was willing to agree to a consultation with me. Naturally, since she had already determined not to take my case, I graciously declined. Thus I am still to be terminated from a job I've held over 40 years.

As I regretted to tell you the first and only time we met, your case was not only weak but not actionable. That is a hard thing to hear and you ignored my good counsel. When you called me again, months later, I told you, without charging you a cent, that my opinion was the same and that the mediator(who was a new variable since our first consult) was not someone I was interested in blaming as I think the world of her. That really upset you. I am sorry that you can't tell the difference between candor and avarice. I am sorry you lost your job. May your retirement be fruitful.

Highly Recommend

If you are in question of your rights, she is definitely the person you need to meet with.
