My experience with Counselor Hicks was excellent from the first phone call to discuss the matter (reckless driving charge on I-95 Greensville Sheriff, potential 4 points and criminal misdemeanor). It was so obvious to me (and I work with business attorneys everyday for 30 years in my job) that Ms. H...icks was going to be that terrific combination of good listener, experienced, professional and gracious! Ms. Hicks was responsive whenever I called or emailed her. I mean immediately, even right after a long day in court. In that first call, she let me know exactly what I needed to provide her with (i.e. state driving record, and my version of what transpired). Once she had what she needed from me, she acknowledged it, and told me she would contact me before the court date (which was about 45 days from alleged infraction date). And right on time, a couple days before she let me know she was all set, and would provide the outcome after the hearing. Ms. Hicks after initially hearing what my case was about in that first phone call, offered me a flat fixed cost for her time, efforts and guidance. It was very reasonable given she was having to appear in court on my behalf as I live about 3-4 hours away in another state. I had a really clean driving history and weather conditions were good, and I was alleged to be at 83 mph.
