When I received my ticket I was distraught and didn't really want to think about it due to the amount of mail that comes in when your name hits the public record. But one night I received a book that changed my view on the situation. It was a book written by Mr. Nichols about reckless driving in VA.... Even though I had a previous felony after reading the book I some optimism regarding my situation. A day later I contacted Mr. Nichols and retained his services. I entered the court room expecting jail time as a worst case scenario but only left with a large speeding ticket. You must understand that the difference between a good attorney and a great one is how they can educate you as to your situation but make deals with the district attorneys. I received a possession of marijuana charge and an illegal use of a disabled placard. After counseling and being given great advice, I completed the recommended 50 hours of community service and passing the 5-panel urine test ; which was recommended to be taken 3 days prior to the date of court ( I... also provided a copy of my resume and papers proving that I was currently employed).
