Matt was swift and persuasive he owned the court room and got what needed to be done done. We had another eviction law firm id mention their name but matt would be mad at me hes a good person we could tell that when we first met him which was on a Saturday who does that ... Most other lawyers mon ...to fri then we saw he was a dog lover and the caring way he treats people who work for him . We retained Matt to deal with this nightmare Landlord who took us to court for holdover. We were renting this place as our house was being lifted due to the hurricane damage. As the construction delayed we had to extend the lease. At the second time extension, this greedy landlord wanted us to pay... a lot more. That was so unreasonable that we asked the rental office to negotiate the terms before we sign. They refused to do so and took us to court for holdover instead. I contacted Matt for initial consultation and he was very understanding of our situation, and we did exactly what he advised us to do on the first court date. After that we formally retained him to represent us. Although he had so much going on that time, he was always caring, returning my call quickly or gave me a call to provide updates as it occurs. He was taking the time to explain what to expect next and even called our contractor to get clarification on the timing to make sure we would not vacate the apartment too soon if the offer was accepted by both parties.
