In January 2019, Matt Tannenbaum promptly following initial consultation took the action necessary to cause the quick removal of a Holdover tenant. From initial consultation to the tenant’s departure from the residence was less than 30 days. We retained Matt to deal with this nightmare Landlord who took us to court for holdover. We were renting this place as our house was being lifted due to the hurricane damage. As the construction delayed we had to extend the lease. At the second time extension, this greedy landlord wanted us to pay... a lot more. That was so unreasonable that we asked the rental office to negotiate the terms before we sign. They refused to do so and took us to court for holdover instead. He was taking the time to explain what to expect next and even called our contractor to get clarification on the timing to make sure we would not vacate the apartment too soon if the offer was accepted by both parties.
