When we saw the email that our son was charged with academic dishonesty, we panicked. The possible punishments included everything from a zero on the final to expulsion including a special dishonesty/failing grade for the course which would be a permanent mark on his transcript. We called Joe Lento..., and we immediately received peace of mind. He said since it was a first offense, Joe could probably could get the lightest punishment for our son.
