Very experienced immigration attorney at a fraction of the cost of expensive immigration law firms!

I went to see Erika to try to obtain status for my wife who was brought into this country by her parents when she was a child. She reviewed my wife's many options to get legalized and asked if I had ever been in the military. I told her that I had just been enlisted in the Army and she was able to ge...t my wife her papers very quickly for being the wife of a military member. We were always well informed as to what was going on with our case and whenever my wife got anxious, we could just call her office and her legal assistant would give us prompt information as to what was going on with our case. Erika travels a lot as she is a very successful attorney and has offices in other parts of the state, but she has a large office staff and an attorney that works with her so there was always someone to go to if we had questions about our case. I chose Erika to help us because my parents live in Western Kansas and she is the immigration expert at Univision Kansas and is always giving information on radio shows to people who want to get legalized. We recently moved to Missouri and we went to see many other attorneys before choosing her but some were good but very expensive, and some were cheap but simply not experienced enough. We felt that Erika and her staff really cared about our case. We will definitely recommend her to our friends and family although she is quite popular and may not even need our recommendations. By the way, even though she is very famous as an immigration lawyer, she is very down to earth and we never felt the way we felt before when visiting an attorney. She treats you like she's known you for a long time and that made us feel very comfortable. She is the best!

I really appreciate the time you are taking to write this review. It was a pleasure helping you and your family with your case. I am very happy that you obtained the results you were hoping for and to be honest, you deserve it! I am very proud to help military families and it is I who wish to thank you for your service to our country. You are correct in describing how busy of an attorney I am as I am usually invited as an expert in radio and tv. However, more than promotion for my office I see those invitations as an opportunity to educate immigrants about their options and warn them about people who prey on immigrant's needs to defraud them. You probably know by know that my facebook page has over 120,000 followers all over the country, people love to be informed! Like you mentioned, I do have a very capable and responsible staff that ensures that clients are well informed concerning their case. I always like to think that we help people begin their american dream in this country. God bless you and your beautiful family and may God keep you safe upon deployment. Sincerely...Erika Jurado-Graham.

A thousand thanks for your review! Immigration attorneys must always stay on top of the ever changing law to adequately represent our clients. I am passionate about what I do because I am an immigrant myself and that allows me to identify with my client's problems. Sincerely, Erika Jurado-Graham.

Very honest and experienced immigration attorney, excellent communication at all times, passionate about helping immigrants!

My wife and I were referred by a friend of hers who had used Erika's services. We had heard good things about her from other people too and had been long time followers of her very popular immigration facebook page where she helps the immigrant community with immigration topics. We were hesitant abou...t going to see yet another lawyer as we had bad experiences in the past with other attorneys. Most of them would simply tell us to wait until the law changed for my wife to get papers. Erika was very enthusiastic about the way she could help us and explained that while she has the knowledge, the government is the one with the last word. She wanted us to have real expectations as to what her job as an attorney is not promising anything she didn't feel was out of her hands. Our case went smoothly although during the time she was handling our case her main secretary had a family emergency and resigned. She nevertheless acted very professionally and never let us down, despite having issues finding bilingual personnel. She was not the cheapest attorney out there nor the most expensive one. She explained her fees in detail and encouraged us to contact her via email with any questions. We emailed her quite frequently and she always answered promptly, courteously and very patiently. My wife and I were very scared of the whole process but she reassured us that even though she could not guarantee the result, not going forward with my wife's immigration process could have negative consequences. My wife will need to remove her conditions of her residency in 2 years and we will be going back to Erika. I believe she has another attorney working for her now and new bilingual staff. I would definitely recommend her.

Many thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback! I believe that establishing expectations from the very beginning is very important. It should be made very clear that while we have the experience and the knowledge to process your case, the government is the one with the last word. Many times the government's decision does not make sense despite our best efforts. It is important that the clients are aware of how unpredictable certain cases can be so that they do not have false expectations of what our job is. I also want to thank you for your patience while we were training our new staff. My two main paralegals resigned within days of each other for unrelated reasons and my office was left trying to replace them while trying not to allow the work to get behind. It got very frustrating but we emerged stronger and with even more capable and dependable people to work with. We now have another attorney and paralegals with excellent backgrounds to help our clients. I am happy that you found communicating with me easy, I do answer all of my emails personally, even the ones from my facebook followers that are now over 80,000. I hope you and your wife continue to follow me on facebook as the immigration issues concern us all, citizens or not. Have a nice day!

Worth the wait....

I hired this lawyer in 2010 for an immigration matter. I really had no idea what to expect when we started. She was professional and informative when answering our questions. She seemed very educated regarding all aspects of the subject matter. After the initial advisement, we did mostly meet wit...h supportive staff. If there were questions other staffers had trouble with, Ms. Graham stepped in. After 2 years of filing various applications, our petition was approved. We were informed in advance this was about how long approval was expected to take. I was born in the US and maintain US citizenship, but my spouse was seeking family immigration. Like I said, I was initially quite unsure what might be expected of US during this process and what would be expected from the lawyer. She filed all applications for us and was very knowledgeable about telling us what we needed to do, BUT [I feel] this process DID require ALOT of effort on our part. I suppose that's probably to be expected. With these petitions, I have a feeling the more effort the participants put in, the better the outcome. Unless you are already facing deportation, I would recommend this lawyer.

Thank you so much for such an honest review! It is very true that these cases are only possible if our clients are willing to put in as much effort as the attorney. In fact, I have learned through the years that this particular issue should be explained to potential clients during the consultation so that they understand from the very beginning how complex certain cases can be. Nevertheless, we appreciate when our clients do realize how complex these processes can be and are willing to put their best efforts to allow us to help them.
