Zero communication on my case. The assistant didn't seem very well informed or probably didn't understand my questions and wanted me to pay for consultation. They sent me a letter in the mail and I never received so they never received a response from me and they never emailed me or tried to call m...
Unfortunately, you have to review the terms of your contract to understand that appointments with the attorneys have a cost and it's called a consultation fee. When we calculate our fee, we take into account certain factors such as the time it takes to handle a similar case and none of our cases include free consultations for the next 20 years which is how long U visa cases are taking. As to the assistants not being able to answer your questions, you are correct. She cannot provide you with legal advice because she is just an assistant and if you refuse to pay for our consultation fee with us the attorneys, then there is nothing we can do. I believe that you are a better fit for a non-for profit organization which can handle your case at no cost. We wish you the best of luck.
