A great guy to work with!

Spencer is extremely knowledgable and friendly. Always quick to answer emails and phone calls for our auto claim.

Efficient and effective

I needed help when my new supervisor at work wanted me fired for job failure, despite my previously receiving good performance reviews. With only 1 meeting and a few short email exchanges, Mr. Thal guided me so I could express my side of the story such that I was offere a very favorable severance pac...kage. Mr. Thal also reviewed the package for me. Mr. Thal's advice was spot on, and it was an excellent result for very little cash out of my pocket.

Labor Negotiations Extroardinaire

Spencer negotiated our recent labor contract with us. His genius at the table is subtle to notice, but eventually you find him playing dumb, asking silly questions, and delaying the process long enough for him to give thought to all the minutiae of the question at hand to ensure that he's got every f...ine detail. He's asking small questions about this or that when really he's biding his time so he can think about the whole. Combine that with a very open-handed negotiation style that leaves nothing to mystery and you get a very fast, cooperative effort on the part of both sides to come up with a deal. The reason he can be so open about strategy and negotiation is because he has a complete mastery of strategy and negotiation. He pays attention to what comes out on the paper and works the offers and counter offers more soundly than the opposition. It's in this way that he's able to say something like, "Yeah, we really feel the 2% mark is the best one, so we'll go ahead and just wait for you to agree to that one."

Problem with Attorney Spencer Thal

Attorney Thal belongs to a class of lawyers who accumulates many clients, plays the odds, and goes for the easy settlement offers. When the litigation becomes difficult, he finds a reason to walk away and conveniently move on to a new client. Not unlike your situation, I was unjustly wronged by a l...arge institution that seemingly has an infinite legal war chest. I was very taken in by Attorney Thal’s pitch that he will fight hard for me and seek justice. But in the end, when the lawsuit was becoming difficult and expensive and when it became apparent there is not going to be any easy settlement offers, he promptly withdrew and walked away from the case just right before the discovery cutoff deadline and right before the statute of limitation expires. I wish you the best in your search for an attorney who has the commitment to fight hard for you from beginning to end. Find an attorney team who have a track record of taking their client’s case all the way through jury trial and appeal process. You’re already a victim of injustice, and it’ll be absolutely devastating to be victimized a second time because you hired the wrong attorney.

Please do not retain and please be aware !!!!

Please do not retain and please be aware. My family and I retained Spencer and his law firm in an employment matter and received nothing more but true disappointment. This attorney is the type of attorney that will leave you “high and dry” as he sees fits to do so, Spencer is the type of attorney ...that will lead you and your family into believing that true justice is on your side and that he is there to obtain it for you. That is not the case in any form or fashion! Spencer will not take any true responsibility for his actions and will put the “blame game” on you if it comes to the any type of deterioration of the client/ attorney relationship. His communication skills are subpar (once more, will not take full responsibility for his lack of real communication skills and will tend to submit documentation to the defendant without your consent as the client ) and this is what will lead you down the road to trouble with his firm. Spencer is not the type of attorney who is truly interested in the the long haul of your case/claim and will withdraw if it becomes too difficult and or he does not concur with what you desire as the client in your case. But is most certainly there to collect any type money that he can benefit from you and your claim. Truly, if you and your family are seeking justice in your claim, then this is NOT the attorney or firm for you. Please seek true justice in another more competent attorney!!
