I don't fit in, in my small town. When I got accused of something pretty serious, and got the public defender, I was worried about who my lawyer might be. I was worried I would get someone who would just plead me guilty. But I got Mr. Troy Pickard, who cared about my case and helped me win my ca...se at trial. After Troy took my case to a jury, he did such a good job that the judge dismissed the case outright and I can not be put on trial for that again. I guess some public defenders are pretty awesome!

Troy Pickard believed me, and our jury believed him! I was accused of burglary and shoplifting, crimes that I would never commit. Troy Pickard listened to me, totally investigated my case, and found important witnesses and videotape. He did a great job of questioning the police witnesses and m...ade the prosecutor's argument look silly to the judge and jury. I was found completely not guilty, and I am so happy! I have never been in any trouble, and did not want this on my record. There were times when I felt scared, but Troy always took the time to listen to my concerns, and did a good job of explaining each step of the process.
