The only things Diane lacks of being Wonder Woman is the invisible airplane and the cape! My son’s IEP was not being implemented. This was a situation where the chain of command had been alerted both at the school district and the ESD, to no avail, and the teacher was becoming increasingly difficult ...to work with. Our school district had a history of indifference almost hostilities towards the special ed. kids and department. So I called Diane. There was no more he said/she said, there was no more struggle. Diane helped not only my son, but six other students as well. We had someone who believed us, and could help our kids get the free and appropriate education they are entitled to. Making that initial phone call to Diane was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I couldn't have had a better experience with an attorney. When I researched Diane i was told that she was the best SPED attorney in the NW and she didn't disappoint. She was extremely knowledgable, was a great communicator, and was extremely reliable, but most importantly she had a heart for our so...n and understood our predicament. As a parent she had walked in our shoes and I think that made all the difference.

We were having a terrible time convincing our school district that my son needed more services than they were willing to give. Diane is so well known in this town that we knew that they would listen to her. She really cared about us, gave us fabulous advice, made working with the school district e...asy, and got us services that we wold never have been able to afford on our own. She knew what to ask for, and how to help my son. She came to every IEP meeting and made the entire process wonderful. She has such great experience working with families that need help that she could offer great advice on how to help him. It all worked out - he's in college, doing great, thanks in no small part to the school services we were able to get.
