Phillip isnt even officially my Lawyer . . . yet? But he was helpful in responding to my online question, which led me to giving his office a call . . . on a Saturday. Sure enough, true to previous posts, he was in on the weekend "catching up" as he said. And yet, he was still willing to hear out mor...e of my predicament, and give me advice as to what to do next. I hired this Lawyer for auto accident related. He came to my house showing me that he was interested. At the begging of the case he was fine, until later that he started to advice me to agree to settle for amounts that were not even within the range of a jury's verdict. very much by the end I had t...he feeling that he was working for the other party instead of working for me, it was very frustrating. I am sure that as individual lawyer he is great, but for some reason he fails. there was a time that he confused me with other client. Again by the end of my settlement he was strongly advising me to to agree to settle for what the insurance was offering, I did not want to, so the point is that by the end we got a big sum of money just because I did not follow his advise. When we came to his office he would not receive us courteously, instead he acted like if he was mad or annoyed. I am not writing this to push him down, but to help other people who could be looking for a lawyer.

PLEASE DISREGARD REVIEW JUST SENT AND REPLACE WITH THE FOLLOWING: When I hired an attorney, I thought I was gaining an advocate who would protect me and look out for my rights. Instead, I experienced more stress and problems from Mr. Gilbert than I did my signi...ficant disabling injuries from the accident. He admitted to looking out for his own interests, not mine. His conduct reflected that philosophy much to my detriment. Just getting my settlement money was a years long process. I finally had to threaten to call consumer news advocates after years of fighting to get my money, before I finally received my payment. It was a nightmare that nearly left me homeless. Mr. Gilbert wanted to add a Non Disparagement Clause so I could not talk about his conduct. This was not part of any initial agreement and came after I expressed extreme dissatisfaction with his conduct, which was eratic and not in my best interests in any discernible way. I fought that so I could tell others to spare themselves the same experience. If you want an advocate and someone to help you through the legal process, if you want your settlement money within years of settlement, go elsewhere. No one should go through what I did, and there are attornies out there with at least some focus on their clients' well being.
