Awesome Extraordinarily Persistent Lawyer - Nan!!!

I chose Nan as my lawyer after firing my 1st lawyer in my case as he was ineffective and was very passive. After Nan coming on board, she worked really really hard to resolve my case in my favor. Nan was extraordinarily persistent throughout my case. She exceeded my expectations and produced aw...esome result. She has lots of confidence and executes very well in court. Nan does not just take the case as her routine work, but she gets into characters of the case, understand their situation and identifies the impediments in the case. I nicknamed her "Court Queen" :) She had multiple 1:1 meetings with me to gather information for my case. She was easy to reach and would reply back the texts anytime including the court hours. I found Nan to be a great Lawyer and a person. I am an Indian Muslim and saw that she had an affinity to learn my culture and religion and respected them. She is a great team player and would give accolades to others for the success. I highly recommend Nan to anybody who is looking for a great people's person lawyer. I would use Nan's services in a heartbeat should I require legal help in the future. — Moh

Horrible person

This woman talks down to you. She would give you the runaround. She told me I would be in jail for 10 days and the DA wouldn't back down on that. Later she said it's 10 days sheriff's work. At that point I already had sleepless nights. The more i talked with her and the more i researched the mor...e I lost confidence in her. She doesn't believe in her clients. She wants me to do what is easy for her. She told me if i go to court I won't get as good of a plea. I talked to another lawyer and he said I have a good case. There were many other things wrong with this lawyer but AVVO always seems to kick back my review. I hope this one sticks. I wish I swap lawyers earlier.

It's unfortunate that you were unhappy. I was your 2nd lawyer and now you have a 3rd. It is the lawyer's job to be up front and honest with the client as to the likely outcome in trial. In your case, the attack on the victim would have very likely resulted in a conviction and a much longer sentence than 10 days. Your new attorney has confirmed the same and agreed with my assessment. Your attorney before me agrees as well. We do everything possible to help our clients but not every case is a winning case.

She’s earned her 5 star ratings!

I was a victim in a domestic violence case and I did not trust that my best interests were being fully accounted for. After feeling pressured by the DA and threatened by the PD representing my ex, I decided to find a lawyer. It’s unfortunate that victims aren’t provided with legal aid because it can ...often feel overwhelming when you’re on your own as a victim. True to my nature of researching everything, I meticulously scoured through client’s reviews of various attorneys and narrowed it down to a final select few. The other attorneys did not answer, nor did they ever return my call. In hindsight, I appreciate their lack of professionalism because it lead me to Nan Bucknall. She was the only one who took a moment during the lunch hour to personally answer her phone. She allows you direct contact with her through her cell, despite having secretaries and a paralegal at her office! This is incredible and you can rest assured that you won’t be waiting long for anyone to relay her messages to get back to you (as many attorneys do). After a brief discussion with her, I knew I needed to look no further. Now, I understand my particular case was not especially time-consuming or strategically daunting, but I needed Nan in my corner. When I hired her, I knew I was safe. I told her I was vehemently against testifying in court and I can tell you this: after all the subpoenas and continuances, I never had to appear thanks to her. Nonetheless, she was at every court date and reported back to me right away. The peace of mind she gave me was priceless. While no lawyer can ever guarantee you the outcome you wish, it is exciting when they do. With her help, the case was resolved exactly how I had hoped it would be. I am pursuing a career in law and have been around various types of attorneys — Nan is the kind of lawyer I’d aspire to be because she’s brilliant, driven, and holds herself to a high moral standard. She gets right in there and gets the job done. With all due respect to Santa Clara County, don’t expect a public defender to yield even a fraction of the results that Nan can! I highly recommend that you look no further and give Nan a call!

Best Results Possible

We hired Nan to represent a family member. He was facing a second felony strike. All of the evidence was recorded and in the possession of the police. Nan managed to persuade the District Attorney to dismiss the felony strike and allow him to plead guilty to lesser charges. She saved him from bei...ng sent to prison. We met with her several times throughout the case. She took the time to explain what was happening. I cannot thank her enough.

The best go-to DUI attorney

Definitely the best DUI attorney you can go to, no matter what you're situation is, may it be a misdemeanour or aggravated offence, Nan will always find a way out in a structured and methodical manner. I am a current international student (under F1 visa), got into a DUI situation recently(with an a...lcohol reading of 0.11). I had no idea what to do as I had to deal with the Visa revocation as well. The only option I had was to contact an attorney who could help me out. Nan was the first person I contacted and the response was immediate. I set up an appointment with her and got to explain my situation. After hearing me out she actually didn't promise me anything as my Visa was a fragile one for DUI cases. She was very helpful regarding all the matters and also suggested an immigration attorney(who was also very professional and helpful). My court date was pushed ahead, but she still managed to get an early hearing. My case was reduced to WET and RECKLESS and all credits go to Nan. I am so relieved at the moment and would like to share this moment and advice all the individuals who are currently dealing with a DUI: contact Nan Bucknell law firms. Once again thank you Nan
