Thank you for your kind words. The case you speak of was actually two different cases. First we had to pursue the claim against the lady who hit your family member and deal with her insurance company. That insurance company initially said their policy holder was not at fault for the crash and refused to pay any money for the medical bills, pain, suffering, loss of movement and other harms your family member suffered. Despite their denial of responsibility for their policy holder's carelessness, we eventually showed the other driver's insurance company that they should pay their entire policy. Once we received all of the other driver's insurance proceeds, we made an underinsured motorist claim, as her insurance was not enough to fully compensate for the harms and losses caused by her carelessness. That process was successful in producing a fair settlement. All the while we had to fight with your health insurance who was improperly requested more money be reimbursed than they were entitled to receive under the policy and the law.
