Excellent Attorney

Passing through a divorce or custody is extremely stressful. Having the right attorney during this time makes all the difference in the world. Choosing the right attorney is a challenge. I had two attorneys before I retained Amy. So, I did a lot of homework before I retained Amy. I read the rev...iews, talked to friends (one is a judge), and consulted with my son who is now in law school, first year. Reading the reviews left for Amy, you will see a common theme, she is incredibly ethical, professional and will not overcharge. I found this to be absolutely true. Amy will listen and respond to emails timely; It is not unusual to see emails coming from her over the weekend or past 10 pm. She is honest and will not over-promise. She will tell you her true opinion as it is with respect. She smells BS and is very persistent. In my case, my ex did not turn in a meaningful financial disclosure for years and her attorney will not respond to emails and missed court dates. Amy was very persistent and filed a motion for sanctions. Amy was able to get a meaningful financial disclosure and some money. With the lawyers I had before Amy, I felt that the objective was to overcharge and my best interest was not at heart. The charges from Amy were more than honest and fair and I felt that my best interest was at heart; no question. I would recommend Amy to anyone who needs an excellent family attorney. She is smart, clever, well-versed, honest, a true lady, articulate, a decent human being, and professional. My words cannot describe how much I admire her. Amy received a Rising Star award; my son told me this award is not easy to earn. She handled over 500 cases to resolution (per AVVO); this means she is efficient and reasonable; many attorneys endorsed her and attested to the same. If Amy is your attorney, you are in good hands and she has very professional staff. I do not typically write reviews. However, I left this review because I wanted to help others looking for an excellent attorney during a tough time and wanted to thank Amy for a job well done.

Child custody / Temp restraining order/ Child Support

When I first contacted Tipton Legal it was only two weeks before my first hearing. Amy was able to take on my case, although it was short notice. Tipton Legal made sure to contact me before any hearing or court date. I was also given a direct email to Amy to reach as-well. Any time I had any questio...ns or concerns, Tipton legal has been hands on when it comes to being able to reach. Even after business hours. 10/10 when it comes to communication or if there was any change in court dates. Mrs.Tipton never missed court. The outcome of court was better than I expected & I was granted everything I asked for. Tipton legal is the best and did everything to reassure me my case was in the proper hands.

Amy Lovegren-Tipton is awesome.

My divorce was final in August 2016, after 2 years of lackluster and substandard representation by another attorney whose name I won't mention. I spent most of my time during my divorce waiting for answers, responses to offers, and what should have been client service but almost never was. I called m...y (previous) attorney countless times, emailed and sent text messages. More often than not I was angry and frustrated with the service (or lack of) that I received. I chased my previous attorney around constantly and was lied to repeatedly. Things were even worse when we went into our mandatory settlement conference when my attorney let me get beat up and battered by my wife's attorney, all while nothing was done to cover me and protect my interests. It was quite possibly one of the worst, most emotionally charged and frustrating things I have ever gone through. For the amount of money I ended up paying my previous attorney once everything was (supposedly) all said and done, I should have fired that attorney a year earlier, but I did not. Stupid me. I was scared. I wanted guidance and council. Isn't that what we SHOULD get? It's what we as clients pay the big bucks for. Fast forward to October 2016, which was 2 months AFTER my divorce was final. Many issues that SHOULD HAVE been rectified when the final judgement was prepared...we're not. In fact, there were many loose ends and a whole lot of vague "language" that didn't clearly spell out what the proper division of assets should have looked like. Basically the final decree that was stamped by the judge and filed by the court, left entirely too many things open to interpretation and caused alot of issues when it came time to "enforce" the court orders for specific assets. Clearly a problem. I sought out legal council through the Fresno bar association's attorney referral service. Enter Amy Lovegren-Tipton. She absolutely rocks! I first met for a consultation in her office. I laid out all my concerns and grievances and within 15 minutes she had answers and an ACTION PLAN. I was so impressed that I retained her on the spot. Within 3 days she had everything handled and all the necessary court forms typed up and ready to file with all the necessary entities. She got on things like a bulldog, made calls, got everything moving so fast it made my head spin. I so wish I had had Amy Lovegren-Tipton as my divorce attorney instead of the ineffective slacker I had hired originally. She kicks butt and takes names. Hire her without any reservations because she'll handle your business and take care of things in a timely manner, like a pro. Her communication and follow up is phenomenal. Thanks Amy!
