A Blessing in Disguise-The Best in Town

I was looking for a lawyer wh could take on the cops. I was charged with DUI and resisting arrest. I needed someone who wasn't scared to buck the system and go against the police. I wasn't sure I wanted a female attorney. But I referred to Ms. Prevost by two friends who had used her successfully. ... I have to hand it to her. No stone went unturned. She had an investigator go to the scene, take photos, got witness statements and challenged the cop's version of events. She got the resisting arrest dropped and the DUI reduced. All I can say is that she is wolf in sheep's clothing. If you want a fighter, hire this woman.

An Excellent Attorney All Around

Ms. Prevost represented me two years ago on a drug charge. Had I been convicted, I would have lost my license and my job. Ms. Prevost spent what seemed like an eternity - more than 7 months - fighting this out. I ended up getting a very good plea deal that did not affect my license or my job. I was... so terribly grateful that she was able to resolve the case in a way that saved me from losing my job, and losing everything. She was highly effective.

She Doesn't Scare Easy

I hired Mary Frances because another attorney said she was fearless, and that's what I needed. The police had made a false allegation of resisting arrest, and I could not have that following me for the rest of my life. Mary Frances spent the time and energy on the case, and proved to the prosecutor... that the charges was false. My case was dismissed! I thought I was a cooked goose because people tend to always side the the police. My former lawyer told me to just plead guilty and get it over with. But Mary Frances did the investigation, and took the time to prove the cops were wrong.

This is just proof that if you stick with it, and don't back down in the face of adversity, you can turn the tides against the government. Thanks for posting this. I am humbled by your praise.

THE MOST DYNAMIC AND PROFESSIONAL ATTORNEY i KNOW

A little over a year ago I was falsely accused of hitting a TSA officer at the Burbank airport and was put in the Burbank jail for over 6 hours. My first attorney got as far as a plea bargain with the prosecution. The pleas bargain was as follows: I needed to plead guilty, I would then be put on pr...obation to stay away from the Burbank airport for 6 months after which I would then go back into the court and rescind my guilty plea and they would dismiss the case. I told him I was not guilty and I would not plead guilty...he did not want to represent me in court so I needed to find a new attorney. I found Mary Frances Prevost via the internet. When I read her background I knew she was the attorney for me. She not only handles criminal cases, but she does civil as well. In addition to this, she also practices in both State and Federal courts. I wanted to have 1 attorney carry me through all of the legal proceedings and her credentials fit my needs. I had interviewed other local attorneys and most of them seemed to think that the plea bargain was a pretty descent offer. When Mary Prevost saw the video that I posted on U-Tube she immediately told me that I had a very strong case. Those were the words of encouragement that I needed to have. Finally I had someone on my side (even my family members wanted me to take the plea bargain). The Burbank City Attorney threatened me that he would press for the maximum penalty, including jail time if possible, if I did not take the plea bargain. Every time we went to court in the pre-trial mode the judges sided with the prosecution, even to the point of denying us the Discovery necessary to defend our case. I would get upset and frustrated (as I have never before dealt with anything like this before) and Mary Prevost just pressed forward. She told me not to worry and that everything was under control. Discovery continued to be denied to us so we finally went to the media. The case received coverage on CBS News, Inside Edition, various talk radio shows, and many news publications. If interested in the case, just Google “tsa applesauce”. The case is scheduled to be dismissed October 18, 2010. I don’t think I could have survived this ordeal if it had not been for Mary Prevost and her assistant Augustin Huerta. It’s nice to know when something comes my way (TSA is now trying to charge me a civil fine of $2500) that I can toss the ball to Mary Prevost and know that it will professionally handled. I highly recommend her.

Thank you Nadine. You had the courage to stick it out with me and prove to everyone that you were innocent. Now it is our turn to go after them. Let's sue the Department of Homeland Security and see what they do when we come after them now! You are every attorney's dream client. I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to defend you.

She Stepped Up To The Challenge

I hired Ms. Prevost after firing my original lawyer. He told me to plead guilty. I wasn't guilty. From the moment I met Ms. Prevost, she began outlining a strategy my former lawyer hadn't even considered. And she followed through. I went to trial, and I won. I owe a lot to Ms. Prevost. I owe and a...wful lot to her.
