AVOID AVOID AVOID

Had to fire Sarieh Law Offices due to massive disorganization, lack of follow through and potential fraud. Subpoenas were promised to be sent out & never were. Key facts & dates about my case were being constantly missed and emails were left unreplied to. I was constantly refreshing the staff about t...he status of my case was and what the next steps were. I believe they didn't review any of the financial documentation I sent them and they refused to file many pieces of significant evidence I supplied highlighting my ex's frequent child neglect and abuse, which in hindsight made my case weaker in the eyes of the court. They also disregarded documented employment disclosures from my ex showing she was working 32hrs/wk in favor of accepting a verbal explanation that she was working 8hrs/wk, which resulted in me being in an EXTREMLEY unfair and disadvantageous support agreement that I am currently paying to get out of. When I asked Sarieh Law Offices for the Judge to step in as I did not think this was fair they responded with 'This is the best deal you are going to get you do not want this going in front of the Judge'. My new attorney believes that Sarieh Law Offices purposely maneuvered my case into a financially exposed position simply to be able to bill me massive additional hours to 'remedy' the situation, of which I completely agree. When I called the office to pause work & realign on my case they promptly fired me with a form letter leading me to believe this is a frequent occurrence for them. $19k spent and NOTHING has been resolved. This firm is either incompetent or crooked, either of which means you should avoid at all costs and instead find someone that will fight for you.

Poor Representation

Mr. Sarieh was very negligent in his representation of my case. On the last day of trial, he didn't have it scheduled on his calendar. Needless to say, he wasn't prepared. I provided Mr.Sarieh with questions and would have done a better job representing myself. His office staff was not thorough in th...eir attention to detail when filing to the court. Multiple clerical errors were apparent and referenced in the judge's ruling which drew undue attention to credibility. A Better Business Bureau report was filed on his office that he has yet to respond to in addition to a claim to the State Bar of California. I will pursue a malpractice case with Sarieh Law Offices based on his negligence and poor representation.
