I was recently charged with my second DUI while on probation and was facing harsher penalties. The circumstances around my arrest was highly questionable and I have no doubt that I was going to fight it as my career was on the line. I looked around all of San Diego for highly experienced attorney's a...nd all of them basically gave up knowing second DUI's are difficult to fight. I called Cole Casey's office and he told me that I should speak to him in person. Note that Cole is really popular and has a reputation further research on this will confirm my statements. I quickly went to his office and was greeted by his staff whom made me feel at ease. I had previously worked with an attorney for my first DUI charge who did not do anything for me and basically played the Bait and Switch tactic and found out that he did not even represent me in trial and had others doing his work for him. So having this prior experience I found it difficult to trust Cole in the beginning. Once I explained the story to him he quickly said he would represent me and take the case I worked with a team of people from Ashley, Chris, Mary, Alisha and Cole himself I was updated every time I had questions and they always were happy to make sure I was at ease. Very important they made sure to keep me calm during this whole process. Everything is professional in this firm to the emails, fact findings, evidence gathering to simply being treated as with respect.. My case was probably one of their highlighted cases as it was very interesting as I was told by many of the attorneys. Although we put a lot of fight my case it had to go to trial being scared that I was Cole and his team assured me that they were confident. My whole life was on the line and I had lost the DMV hearing and this was the last straw and knowing stiffer penalties I was needless to say terrified. The most humiliating night of my life was when I got a DUI. I have never been more scared about my future than I was the night of my arrest and the following days. I old a professional license that was terrifed of losing. I called a friend of mine from church whose husband I knew was a well known jud...ge and asked them for a referral.
