Blessings and thanks to Bruce Fagel and their whole staff. One of the problems with being a black woman is that we are not always taken seriously when it comes to medical concerns sometimes. I was convinced that I wasn't being handled correctly or taken seriously by the doctor I went to see about my ...chronic pain. They kept saying it was my diet or I was just tired and overworking myself—I know my body, I know something was wrong! It turns out I was right when I saw a different doctor. My health had gone downhill so much due to lack of care and treatment that it cost me more even to maintain myself now.
