Felony Criminal Threat

I recently was arrested and charged with felony criminal threats. I spent the night in jail and was bailed out for $50,000 dollars. I had some serious charges that I was facing with jail time. I contacted Mr. Kraut and he immediately asked me to come in. I listened to his advice and he cleared up his... schedule to see me that same day. He was very knowledgeable and advised that the key to success would be for us to immediately get on top of this case. From the first second I walked in I felt a sign of relief. He took his time to listen and analyze the whole incident. He took over an hour of his time and didn't charge me. That made me feel good already cause he was looking at me as a human being and not just a case #. I was open and honest about everything that happened and it was due to his warm and caring attitude. I was very scared to what was going to happen to my professional licenses and compromising my employment at a very highly respected firm. I was assured with a realistic outcome and Mr. Kraut SUPERSEDED every expectation I had. He finished my case in less than 3 weeks. He is very well connected and it showed. He always called me back and answered my emails to keep me calm. At the end from me going to jail for at least 1 year he completely and I mean completely had the case dismissed. From a felony to a dismissal. Who can do that? Michael Kraut. I owe you big time... Thank you Thank you Thank you.. God bless

Kraut saved my future!

Worried was an understatement; I had never been in trouble before and was looking at a Felony DUI with Injury in Los Angeles County. With a felony on my record, my dreams of entering into the medical field would have flown right out the window. All my money, schooling, and preparation would have b...een for nothing. Originally, I had gotten a lawyer right across from the courthouse thinking it would be beneficial for me. In my eyes, a lawyer that close to the courthouse would be familiar with the DA or judges and would probably be able to work out a deal. Fast forward a year after my initial arrest and I was still showing up to court dates and no progress was being made. I was still facing a felony charge and the DA wanted me to serve a year in jail! My calls to his office were not returned in a timely fashion and he never asked me to provide anything that might help my case. After the initial proceedings and a hefty chunk of change, my original lawyer sent me a letter in the mail asking for an additional outrageous sum to continue fighting my case. That was it, I was fed up!! That’s when I found Kraut. After reading his reviews online, I set up a meeting with him. What a difference! Kraut was straightforward with me and to the point. He directed me to do things and provide documents and other items that would show the type of person I really was. A good person who made a mistake, not a common criminal. Kraut never sugar coated anything, was always brutally honest and never made promises if he knew he couldn't guarantee them. Instead, he worked hard and miraculously got my sentence reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor! I am so grateful for his hard work and am extremely satisfied with the outcome of my case! Thank you Kraut!!!!

Best lawyer ever

I Don't think I've ever heard anything sweeter than "case dismissed" in my life. When I was pulled over for DUI I thought I automatically became a criminal in people and government judgment but thanks God for finding Michael in this frustrating process my case was dismissed and Im back to normal, hap...py life. From the first time I spoke to him on the phone until the last time we met on the court he always assured me to give me my life back and he stood by his promise. I consulted lots of lawyers before him but after meeting Michael in his office and the confidence he had on his work I knew he is "the guy" who can put me out of trouble. I was pulled over because of "hesitance to drive on the green light" which I never knew its something you could get pulled over for on 4th of July in the hermosa beach. I didn't have that much to drink that day and I thought I'm defiantly ok to drive. Apparently not though. I was talking with my fiancé in the car trying to find the way to get back home and I waited on the green light maybe 10-15 seconds after it was green. A cop car drove behind and pulled me over and as I mentioned the reason for pulling me over as it was stated by him was hesitance to drive after the light was green. Since it was 4th of July the first question was if I had anything to drink and I thought there would be no reason to lie since I felt I was ok so I said I had couple of beer so he had me come out of my car and pass the usual tests. After passing those he said since he isn't sure I am ok , I better take a breathalyzer so I did and he said there is just one last test to take so I agreed and he made me turn around put hand cuffs on me. I don't think I ever felt more terrible in my life. Right away I got an anxiety attack, started shaking and throw up on his feet which he deserves. Lol Then they took me to jail. They took an other breathalyzer test there and told me my Blood alcohol level was .09 and since I was just .01 over, after writing the fine they let me go right away so I was in the station for about 45 minutes all together. Even though that was good nothing made me feel any better until I found Michael and he assured me he will get me out of trouble. As I said he got my case dismissed and also as far as DMV side of things he made it so I didn't lose my license for any amount of time or anything else. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a good lawyer Thanks Michael

Worst experience of my life... Thank goodness for Michael

About 7 months ago, I was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence in Glendale. I thought my life was over. As I was sitting in jail, I thought to myself, I'll never have a future..a career. After 14 hours of sitting in jail, I knew I had to hire an attorney to save me! To erase this ...mistake. The search for a lawyer started as soon as I got out. Did I mention I'm not even 21? You can see why I was in such a panic. After hours and hours of searching with my parents, calling here and there, we finally came across Attorney Michael Kraut. My mom called him up, and a meeting was immediately set up. I think that was great, that my whole family was able to meet with him and talk about the possible outcomes of my case. As I mentioned, I'm not 21. Which means that not only did I drink and drive...but that I drank in the first place. I had THREE SEPARATE charges; DUI, DUI Minor, & DUI over the legal limit (I blew over .08) Not only that, but I also went to the hospital the night I was pulled over for a blood test, which shows a much more accurate reading. After telling him about everything that happened, Michael didn't promise anything, he wasn't trying to sell himself. He was very straight forward and honest. So, after an hour and half of talking, we hired him. I'm that type of person who worries and worries, and won't have some relief until I know that everything will be okay. He told me not to, and that he will take care of everything. I was a bit hesitant. I thought, how can a lawyer fix this? I drew blood, I'm under 21, I even blew over the legal limit, and not to mention I was also under the influence of marijuana. All while this was going on, I was in the process of getting promoted to management at my work. Once I got the promotion, they had to run a background check, and lo and behold the DUI showed up, and I was not able to move forward with the promotion. Once that happened, I thought for sure my life was over. If I can't become a manager in retail, what will I do once I have a degree? Who'll ever hire me? This is when this whole thing took a toll on me. I confided in Michael, and he told me that everything will be okay, to just give him some time to work on everything. Every time I emailed him, he'd respond within 5 minutes. When I'd call him, and if he was busy, he'd call back within the hour. He also really cares about his clients, about your well being and how everything is going. My first court date was about a month after I got pulled over, but I didn't even have to show up! I started the semester that same day, and he told me that I don't have to go and he'll take care of it. After extending court twice, I was advised to attend the final court date with him. This freaked me out even more, what would I say to the judge? Michael told me not to even worry and that he'll be next to me and handle everything. The deal we were hoping for was 3 different classes, and 3 years summary probation...which sounded a lot better than the possible jail time, community service, huge amount of fines, etc. I was really hoping for the charges to be reduced, so that I can still have hope for some kind of future, but that didn't look like an option. Before my name was called up in court, Michael took me outside and told me that he spoke to the DA and had the judge reconsider their decision to reduce my charges...and they did! He made the impossible happen!! I was charged with a wet & reckless, which is way better than having a DUI on your record for 10 years. This process is not easy. It's a lot of stress and the consequences are real. But having someone like Michael by your side, really makes everything a lot easier. He really knows what he's doing-he was a Deputy District Attorney, so he knows how the other side works as well, which is why he was able to do what he did despite the facts of my case. Very professional, caring, and a life saver. Because of him, I know that this won't hinder my future goals. Thank you!!

The BEST Criminal Law Attorney!

In 2011, I was charged with four counts of Welfare Fraud . I was unable to sleep for several weeks after being notified. I was afraid that my professional career would be ruined and most important, I was afraid that I may end up serving jail time. I researched several attorneys and none of them felt ..." right," until I came across Kraut Law Group. I contacted him at 7:00am and explained my situation. He told me that everything would be okay and not to lose any more sleep. Mr. Kraut was professional and honest about everything related to my case. He was able to get the charges dismissed and I walked away from the situation without having a criminal record! I have secured two jobs that require live scan since the case was handled and I thank Kraut Law Group!
