I called Doug Cohen when Douglas County DHS opened a D&N and took my children out of a safe and loving home. Doug aggressively used my documentation and evidence to ensure that I was not steam rolled by DHS in advocating for my children. DHS returned custody and Doug swiftly handled an appeal with the state to get everything removed from my record, without ever having to go to trial.
